What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

Living Classroom

We have an amazing garden and chicken pen which are part of our living classroom program. The students have opportunities to cook and use produce harvested from our school garden. Our cooking and gardening program offers students the chance to work collaboratively, learn about healthy living and develop skills in the kitchen and garden.

Sporting opportunities

Competitions are held in swimming, cross-country running and athletics for all students as we join together with 5 other local small schools to represent the Bong Bong District.

Students from Years 3 to 6 have the opportunity to also take part in inter-school gala days where they compete against other local schools in sports.

Weekly sport lessons are also provided throughout the year. Each term the program offered changes so students have an opportunity to learn and develop new skills. Sports that may be offered include tennis, soccer, gymnastics, volleyball or fundamental movement skills.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.
