Junior AECG

The Junior AECG (JAECG) is a student committee that is established by the AECG and aims to:

Ensure Aboriginal cultures are represented and embedded throughout the school environment and curriculum.
Empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students through real and active participation in school decision-making.
Provide a platform for Aboriginal student voice.
Advocate for Aboriginal education.
Strengthen connections between students, staff, families, and the wider community.
Promote respect, understanding, and celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and perspectives across the school.
Develop student leadership, confidence, and pride in cultural identity.
